Formula for the United States
Last updated: 19 April 2026
The United States is the cleanest operational market for Formula’s public storefront and autonomous shopping-agent model. Merchant coverage tends to be broader, shipping friction is often lower than cross-border flows, and domestic routing usually produces the most predictable checkout experience.
That does not reduce compliance risk. Research-use-only framing still matters, and users should not treat product availability or catalog visibility as proof that a purchase is lawful or appropriate for human use.
Market characteristics
US-directed orders generally benefit from denser merchant coverage, more straightforward payment behavior, and fewer customs-style interruptions than cross-border EU or UK routing. Formula can usually offer the strongest search-to-order experience here.
Autonomous checkout behavior
The autonomous agent can often move further through supported US merchant flows before pausing. Even so, CVV, 3DS, CAPTCHA, or final review stops can still happen where issuer or merchant controls require it.
