Shipping and Regions

Last updated: 19 April 2026

Formula supports cross-border research procurement flows, but shipping outcomes still depend on supplier coverage, courier availability, customs processing, and the specific compound being ordered.

This page explains the operational considerations researchers should review before routing orders to the United States, Canada, Germany, France, or the United Kingdom.

1. Order handling

After a cart is confirmed, Formula may route the order through supplier-specific checkout steps, payment checks, or additional information requests. Orders are not final until the supplier accepts and processes them.

2. United States

US-directed orders usually have the cleanest operational path in Formula because merchant coverage is often broader and shipping routes are more straightforward than cross-border flows. That does not eliminate buyer-side responsibility for confirming the legality and suitability of a given order.

3. Canada

Canada-directed orders can differ materially from US orders in merchant support, courier routing, and customs-sensitive handling. Researchers should verify destination coverage, listing documentation, and any merchant-specific exclusions before relying on a checkout estimate for Canada.

4. Germany

German deliveries may require especially careful product-level review before checkout. Buyers should confirm destination details, institutional eligibility, and any local import restrictions before placing an order.

5. France

French orders may be affected by courier coverage, customs review, and supplier-specific exclusions. Researchers should confirm that the selected product can be shipped to France before relying on a checkout estimate.

6. United Kingdom

UK deliveries can involve destination-specific documentation, courier handoff differences, and customs handling that diverges from EU flows. Buyers should review address accuracy and import expectations carefully before submitting the cart.

7. Customs, delays, and returns

Transit timing can vary materially. Formula does not control customs inspections, local carrier delays, or destination holds. Return, reshipment, and refund outcomes depend on supplier policy, courier outcome, and the reason the shipment could not be completed.
